Things in Nature Merely Grow

There is no good way to say this: my husband and I had two children and lost them both - Vincent in 2017 at sixteen, James in 2024 at nineteen. Both chose suicide, both died near home. Words fall short; death becomes fact in an instant, a single point in time. Living on this point, Li turns to thought and words to hold a place for James - writing, gardening, reading Camus and Wittgenstein, learning piano, and living thinkingly alongside death.
